There will be some changes in public transport traffic on August 12 due to triathlon competition
“Rīgas satiksme” informs that on Sunday, August 12, due to the competition organized by the Triathlon Federation, from the start of the public transport traffic and approximately until 17.00, traffic will be closed in Mūkusalas Street from Bieķensalas Street in the direction of Akmens Bridge and down the ramp from Akmens Bridge to Mūkusalas Street to Akmeņu Street, which will cause several changes in public transport traffic.
Bus No. 10 – will run from Abrenes Street by the route to Akmens Bridge, then across Akmens Bridge, along Uzvaras Boulevard, Valguma Street, Akmeņu Street, Mūkusalas Street and further by the route. From Jaunmārupe, the bus will run by the route to Mūkusalas Street, then along Mūkusalas Street, Bieķensalas Street, Jelgavas Street, Akmeņu Street, Valguma Street, Uzvaras Boulevard, across Akmens Bridge and further by the route.
Bus No. 23 – will run from Abrenes Street by the route to Akmens Bridge, then across Akmens Bridge, along Uzvaras Boulevard, Valguma Street, Akmeņu Street and further by the route. From Baloži, the bus will run by the route to Akmeņu Street, then along Akmeņu Street, Valguma Street, Uzvaras Boulevard, across Akmens Bridge and further by the route.
Bus No. 26 – will run from Abrenes Street by the route to Akmens Bridge, then across Akmens Bridge, along Uzvaras Boulevard, Valguma Street, Akmeņu Street, Mūkusalas Street and further by the route. From Katlakalns, the bus will run by the route to Jelgavas Street, then along Jelgavas Street, Akmeņu Street, Valguma Street, Uzvaras Boulevard, across Akmens Bridge and further by the route.
Trolleybus No. 27 – will run from Ziepniekkalns by the route to Jelgavas Street, then along Jelgavas Street, Akmeņu Street, Valguma Street, Uzvaras Boulevard, across Akmens Bridge and further by the route to Railway Terminal Square. From Railway Terminal Square, the trolleybus will run by the route to Akmens Bridge, then across Akmens Bridge, along Uzvaras Boulevard, Valguma Street, Akmeņu Street, Mūkusalas Street and further by the route. From stop “Bieķensalas Street” to Railway Terminal Square and back to stop “Kīleveina grāvis” (5.98 km), the trolleybus will run on diesel engine. Stops “Laivu Street”, “Mūkusala”, Kīleveina grāvis” in the direction of Railway Terminal Square and stop “National Libraray” in Mūkusalas Street in both directions will be closed.
